My principal makes me do all hi personal work like bringing his doctor report, making of train tickets, repairing his mobile, getting quotation of air condition, to cobbler for repairing his bag etc and under office work he sends me bank for deposit cash, cheque deposit, updating pass book , he also send me to his client to bring large amount of cash from them and also asks me to go to client within 2-3 km by walking, etc many other works from which i learn nothing. I just have completed 6 months in his office and asking him for transfer, but he is not giving me so, saying once i have joined his firm he will not allow transfer. Can i complain to CA institute regaring this issue or what should i do. Please help me out.. :(

dear i even dont know the procedure, but surely what i can tell you that yes you can do complaint to the institute. go to institute'S building's article section and ask for the procedure, though i will also look for procedure if it could help.
It is to inform you that as per CA Act, a CA can't use article for his personal work and in such case council takes strict action against ca if found guilty.
yes you can take action, no need to be sad,, you are not bounded labor, BUT DONT TAKE DECISION BEING IMPATIENT... earlier in many times complaints has been filed and action by insti has taken. and also transfer is allowed, a ca cant bound you to stay at his office. good luck

Don't worry according to the regulation 67 of ICAI act you have a right to make a complaint against the employer as well as ICAI strictly prohibiting allotment of personal work of the employer to an article/audit student. In such case ICAI will punish the employer according the ICAI regulations and ICAI automatically terminate your articleship training.
So you can make a complaint against your employer as per regulation 67 of ICAI. For details refer regulation 67 of ICAI it will clarify you to whom you have to make a complaint.
Not only you many of the students facing same problem and many of the employers behaving like your employer but no one student came to forward to make a complaint against their employers. I will appreciating you for your decision and taking step to make complaint against the employer because of all the students feeling fear and working at the same place and not dare to make complaint and save others.

Do not worry the personal work training being given to you will help you in your future life but do not try to repeat after your qualification.
As regards complain, yes you can go ahead. Before taking transfer you should go through transfer rules and then only you should take this steps.
I agree with the experts on the complain matter you can directly write to the Secretary ICAI and redress your grievance with a copy to your principal.
