Sir, Pension of army officer(disability+service element) is exempt income under income tax vide letter no. 4684 dated 14 august 2001. One of my client is retired army officer and having pension from SBI bank and they deducted TDS on pension. Now, problem is where and how can show exempt income under ITR-1 because TDS deducted by SBI as employer. please advise appropriate column for exempt pension income. regards vikas
