21 December 2024 The Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) is expected to dispose of appeals within one year from the end of the financial year in which the appeal is filed. However, this timeline can vary based on the complexity of the case and the workload of the department. It is advisable to keep in touch with the CIT(A) office for updates on your cases.
Once an appeal is heard, the CIT(A) must communicate the order in writing, detailing the points for determination and reasons for the decision.

22 December 2024 sir
the appeals are with faceless appeals department -NAFC
thanks

22 December 2024 The assessment unit, after taking cognizance of the inputs from such personal hearing as provided to it by NaFAC, again passes the final assessment order, which is uploaded by NaFAC in the registered ‘e-Filing’ account of the assessee within the time barring limitation period of completion of assessments under Section 143(3) of the Act. The assessment order can be seen and downloaded by clicking the “ Download Closure Order” button in the main window by clicking on the icon “For Your Information”, under the ‘e-proceedings’ tab.
