I have made amendment in st-2 for address change from login option. Now please tell me procedure to download amended st-2 and how long time it would take ?

09 May 2016 Under Registration Option- View Registration History. You can take a print of the same in hard form or in PDF.

10 May 2016 Have you submitted the Hard copy to jurisdictional office with proof?

The procedure is given below. Has to be done online.
Log on in www.aces.gov.in
To amend ST1,
go to REG menu.
1. Under the REG menu, select Amend Registration sub menu.

2. Form ST1
will appear for amendment.

3. Amend the form ST1
as desired and click the button Save & Continue.

4. The amended ST1
will appear on the screen.

5. Check the details and take the printout of the same.

6. After taking the printout, Click the submit button to save and submit the amendment.

7. On successful submission of amendment request, the response page will appear
confirming the acknowledgement.

8. Take the printout of acknowledgement.

9. Hard copy of the amended ST1
together with proof of new address should be submitted
before the jurisdictional officer.

10. After approval amended ST2
can be downloaded from site, take colour print out and
get it signed and sealed from the jurisdictional office.

15 May 2016 every time when ever assessee apporch to office either in registration or amendment, he has to oblige the local staff. why did not the govt. implement provision of e governence like income tax. So that assessee could be protected from unnecessory harrassment.
