54F exemption on construction above the existing house

19 March 2024 Can we claim exemption u/s 54F when the first floor is constructed above the existing house ?

if yes does this require registration as a separate house ?

is there any case law or notification or law which exclusively allows this. ?

request the learned ones to answer this on point
