54EC bond limits

Hi all,
for the LTCG gain made in Oct'19 out of a residential land sale if the LTCG is more than 1Cr can I invest 50L in FY 2019-20 prior to March'31 of 2020 and other 50L in FY 2020-21 say in Apr'20 as it is within the 6 months. There were different opinions about whether limit beyond 50L which was possible in some cases depending on the transaction date is still allowed or not. Can some one give the exact reference saying it is scrapped or still possible to avail?

For a safe of single asset sale total investment under 54EC bonds can't exceed 50 lacs.
