Can anyone tell me about the status of booking in 26AS statemnt. if it shows "U" status does it means credit of tds will not be available.

31 August 2011 'U' means unmatched. Credit will not be allowed to the assessee if status is 'U'.

31 August 2011 u means mismatched
this mean income tax software will not give u credit of that TDS.
check with deductor if he has submit wrong return then he must revise it.

IS IS POSSIBLE THAT IT WILL CONVERT IN THE "F" LATER???
