air travel agent cenvat clarification

This query is : Resolved

04 June 2017 Hi All,

Please advice whether an air travel agent can take credit of service tax paid to airline (which was part of ticket cost) or he should book the full value of ticket as his cost in the books of accounts...

04 June 2017 He can't take any such credits. Without taking any credits he has to pay 15% service tax on 0.75% in case of domestic travel and 1.50% in case of international travel of basic fare
