Whether housewife savings taxable?

20 November 2016 if a housewife save some money which is 3 Lakhs from husbands earning in 4 years. Husband pay a small amount of money to his wife monthly for household works and wife saves some amount. Now if she goes to bank for depositing her savings of rs 3 lakh whether she required to pay tax on it.
Please clarify it

20 November 2016 Housewife savings is not taxable, but as per guidelines upto 250000/- if any person deposit to bank they will not take scrutiny.
