A foreign National holding PIO card in India and would like to work as a marketing consultant. Can he get himself as consultant in India and chanrge and pay service tax.

Documents to be enclosed with form ST-1 (registration application form) is proof of address and copy of pan card. No registration fee is payable.

Yes He should apply for ST Registration via ST-1 Annexed thereto should be: Address Proof-It may be copy of sale deed, rent agreement, telephone/electricity bill in his name(provided bill should be of some govt. agency) Identity Proof- Copy of PAN card, Passport, Driving Licence etc.
