Is service tax charged by telecom compaies on mobile phone bills cenvatable?

yes. provided it is related to output services

As per Rule 2 (l) of CCR, 2004,mobile phone services is input service. It means you can take cenvat credit in respect of same but you have to ensure that these services should used for providing output services and should not be used for personal benefit of employees of the organization.

Cenvat credit can be availed on the service tax paid on mobile phone bills.
