Senior Citizens Savings Scheme 2004 and the Post Office Time Deposit Account added to the basket of saving instruments under Section 80C of the Income Tax Act. w.e.f. A.Y. 2008-09.
Whether the same continues to be taken for rebate U/s 80C for A.Y. 2010-2011.
If yes, There is any circular or notification to that. Plz Provide

80C(2)(xxiii) and (xviv) are the concerned sections. This is applicable from 01/04/2008. No amendment has been made in those section through The Finance (N0 2) Bill,2009. Hence it can be very well presume that the benefit continues for assessment year 2010-11 also.
