Is there any number criteria of Revenue stamps to be affixed?i.e. is the number increases with the amt ?????

10 October 2012 Need not increase the number of stamps. Only one stamp of Re.1 is enough ,according to Section 117 ( iii ) of the Finance ( No. 2 ) Act 2004 ( 23 of 2004), Article 53 of Schedule 1 of the Indian Stamp Act 1899 ,on receipts for any money or other property, the amount or value of which exceeds Rs. 5000/-
