Yes, i can tell you the way how you can learn the whole procedure of tax. Just read the following text book

It is a tax on honesty, when you earn an income you have to voluntarily pay tax on that income as per the IT Act. Porcedures change from one status to another, if you are individual, the act is simple, if compnay is complicated, so lot depends on who you are.
