i have lost my income tax refund cheque.
whts the procedure to be followed to get a new cheque from the department.

20 August 2009 Apply again to concerned ITO for duplicate refund order alongwith an affidavit and copy of ITR filed and if you have assessment order, copy of the same. ITO will issue duplicate refund order.
