I Want to ask whether Interest on Post office is exempt under Income Tax or not for A.Y 2012-13.If Yes, how much is it exempt or under which section.

It is not exempted it is taxable under the head income from other sources.

Interest on 'post office savings bank a/c' is exempt u/s 10(15)(i) of the Income tax Act,1961.
