07 July 2024 should i pay propery tax from sale deed date or occopancy certificate date

i am a purchaser the flat from the Builder ( i reside in Bangalore, the propetty is in Bangalore)

Purchased from builder directly

07 July 2024 Whichever is later...

07 July 2024 MEANS I DID NOT FOLLOW OCCUPANCTY DATE IS 3/1/2020 AND SALE DEED DATE IS 12/01/2022 . I BECAME THE OWNER ONLY FROM 12/01/22 SO I WILL BE LIABLE ONLY FROM 12/01/2022 ?


07 July 2024 Generally in such cases whole month is taken for calculation, as the difference would be meager. If builder insists you may pay from 1st Jan, 2022, provided you have also been given possession from 12/01/2022.
