House property qurey?

if Mr. A has own house Rs.30,00,000 at Mumbai and he also purchase another house on name of Mrs. A Rs. 25,00,000 on june-2010 at Mumbai. his job is transfered to Mumbai to Surat So he hire a rented property at surat Rs.14000 per month rent payable.

please assume annual rent , standared rate at your own assumption.

please clarify it.?

calculate income from house property?

1) can Mr.A own 2 house are liabily to Income from House property under let-out?

2) can any benefit available in respect to he paying monthly rent in sural house?



02 May 2011 1) he is required to pay income u/h house property if he is having more than one house vacant.
2) HRA benefit can be claimed even if own house is there.

03 May 2011 please clarify it in details.

he buy house in name of his wife then what?
what about is own house ?

can both house consider as a deemed let out?

if he staying at surat on rented property then what effect on House property income?



03 October 2021 If house is in spouse name, both individuals will have only one house property, which can be self occupied. Rent can be clained under HRA as it is in different city.
