Dear Sir, I am Auditor of one Pvt. Ltd. company incorporated in Dec'13. company appointed me as a auditor in first AGM held on 05/09/2014 i have completed my audit. but now my question is whether Annual Account has to be Approved in EGM or it should be approved in AGM only. what step we have to be taken regarding this issue.

As per the provisions of Section 210(1) of the Companies Act, 1956, the Board of Directors of the Company shall lay before the Company in its Annual General Meeting (AGM), a Balance Sheet as at the end of the period as specified in sub-section(3) of Section 210 and a Profit and Loss account for that period.
