A Salaried employee.In future he planning to do a consultant work & employee work also.In his individual name gst registration is possible.Kindly give your guidelines.

Yes GST registration for consultancy work is possible if turnover exceed 20 lacs.

But when you join the company as an employee, you might have signed a declaration that you don't own any business ..
If there is no objection from company then you may apply for GST registration
