Gratuity in CTC

gratuity is included in CTC(cost to company). is correct or not ?

is correct every month deduction made for Gratuity from Salary?

if correct the person is left from company within a year, what about gratuity?

because the gratuity is eligible after copletion of 5 years service,

01 February 2010 Gratuity is receivable only after rendering 5 year service period, but if employee leave company before that period then there is no any legal boundation that employer has to pay grauity amount to the employee. However, if employer wants to pay before that period then he can pay.

2) Grauity forms part of gratuity, is correct, because company has to pay this amount towards employeer grautuity account.

3) Gratuity is contribution of Employee and Employer, there for it deducts from the salary of employee also.
