Please provide the suggestion whether the newly incorporate Company (Jan 2011)is required to file Income Tax Return and perform Stautory Audit.

Can the period of Financial Year extend to 15 Months for First Time

06 September 2011 As per Income tax Act,1961 the company has to close its accounts as on 31/03/2011 and income tax return has to be necessarily filed for the assessment year 2011-12. Pl refer section 3 and 139(1) of the said act.
