Hi!
Can u tell me that if person has two children's and he is getting children education allowance then can he is entitle to avail the exemption allowed in IT Act i.e., @ Rs. 100/- per child inspite he is not spending any money on his childrens education.

Unless you pay tuition fee,you cannot claim exemption u/s 10(14) of the Income tax Act,1961. Therefore, u are not entitled to the claim sought for in the query.

Hi,
Only if Fees is paid for the purpose of Education of Childern, then Childern Education allowance can be claimed under Sec 10(14), else you cannot.
