is there any time within which the agenda should be placed or send to the directors of BM. which section deals with the same?

No time limit is prescribed under the Companies Act for giving notice and agenda of Board Meetings.

Agreeing with the view of the above expert, pl note that the Concerned section is 286 of the Companies act,1956. However, the articles of the company may prescribe such time-limit.

SS is recommendatory only.

SS is recommendory. However as a good corporate governance, reasonable notice shall be given of the Board Meeting alongwith related papers.
