Have made clear what I am about to say in the post
And I know that it would also raise many eyebrows.
Without taking much of your precious study
Time I would narrate to you why I hate C.A's(around
90% of them).
I am a good (if not brilliant student) I have
Just cleared my C.P.T with 124 marks I have also
Completed my B.com last year, due to financial
Problems I have to work at a job when I was in B.com
So I didn’t have the time to study, but I wanted to
Become a C.A (purely because of money motive, I will
Not lie to you because it’s easy to talk about ethics
And morals if you are rich but if you don’t have money
You will always be reminded about it either by
Someone else or by your needs). So when I saved
Some money I opened a small shop of downloading
Stuff into mobiles (and recharges) and MP4, s. so I got
Time to study in the shop when there was no
Customers so I enrolled into C.P.T and completed it
In six months with the help of some of my friends.
Now I want to do P.C.C therefore I need training
But in order to do that I would have to leave the shop
, In that case I count even pay the enrolment fee of
7500/, when I told my friend about this he said too me
That C.A can give dummy to certain students
Persuading coaching elsewhere therefore I went to
Many C.A s & told them about my problem and asked
Them if they could help me and to give me a dummy
Certificate (didn’t even know the word but my friends
Who off-course had one told me about it) or to make
Some arrangements that I could support myself.
Instead of helping me they usually make me sit
Around half-hours in the waiting and then half hour in
Their cabin lecturing me about everything from how
ICAI is making C.A so easy by making C.P.T objective (instead of the fact that most of the competitive
Examination entrance test is now objective because of
The fact that it requires you has the deep
Knowledge of the subject and you cant leave even
One stone untouched, aren’t we solving our moths
Question aren’t we cramming our economics figures
Aren’t we learning accounts what is that we are not?
Doing in objective question paper saying that objective
Is easy than subjective is making IITJEE, REC entrance
Exams, CAT making look piece of cake),
And about how the pass rate of C.A is increasing
(I checked that by entering roll of 50 students in front
Of me and 50 students in my back I found out that
Only 12 including me passed, I know that this is not
Random sampling but is how can know the pass rate in
My city since is where I will practice AND also overall
Pass rate of C.A exam is still 23% way les than any
Other exam). They are usually scared about how the
New C.A will come in the market and will take there
Business and will do anything to stop them (I can still
See more shopkeepers, more doctors and way more
Lowers in my City).
They told me how the sallybus of C.A is way easy now and I couldnt have passed 15 years ago. (Contradictory to one of the professors and the teacher of my friend who is teaching for decades to C.A students that firstly the advance C.A is course is not changed significantly for decades and also the basic course is more less same, the only difference is the students now are more hard working, takes their course seriously than before because earlier it was taken for granted that a person will complete C.A in multiple attempts, and students have more books and facilities which was earlier only available to metro city students).
One C.A also told me quite the course and it was not for me.
When I asked Those C.A,s that I will be happy only if they pay me 3000/ per month to compensate since I make nearly five 4200/p.m from my shop they looked me like I was asking for there SHIRTS provided that there office assistants was getting the same pay. SO BASSICALLY WHAT THEY WANT IS THE CHEAP LABOUR I KNEW WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO TEACH ME BCZ WHEN I ASKED THIER INTERNS WHAT THEY LEARNT THEY TOLD ME ticking, how to do plus and minus and check tallying mistakes.
When I asked them to make some arrangements so that I can do their work of 9 months and could compensate the rest they denied all options and asked me to get out. One told me do the training for 18 months (from 10 am to 5 pm) and then give the paper after one year of that which will take 5 years for rest my C.A provided that I could finance myself.
I cannot do the job from 10 am to 5 P.m and complete the course without any tuition in 18 months I am not that smart provided I didn’t have to do any work at my home.
Many Lectured me about MORALS AND ETHICS and how dare I am to ask for dummy, Yeah a lecture from a person who will do anything wizardry in you balance sheet and P&L to get your loan sanctioned from the bank and by wizardry I don’t means hitting certain loop holes but rather overestimating assets of the factories so that the loan could pass the loan (I live in the medium sized town where their are many factories so this kind of stuff is usual) and telling all kind of fraudulent ways to the shopkeepers to keep them away from tax bracket for just 750+1000 bugs sometimes even way less , and my favorite about setting deals with excise officers . YES SIR I AM OPENLY CHRGING YOU. Cross your heart and tell wont you do anything to get the customer and the you lecture me about morals HOW HIPPOCRAT.No.No.NO >no I forget this is your compulsion SIRS NOBODY IS UNCORREPT BUT I ATLEAST ADMIT THAT AND DONT GIVE LECTURES TO OTHER.
You know which C.A I liked the most the one who politely said smiling "No I cant give you that” sweet and simple NO. Is that to hard to say all of the older C.A are so frustrated I don’t know why like I have robbed their personal account or it is that they needed someone to feel good about themselves by making him feel miserable.
Some new C.A thaw understand my point and are quite helpful like this board but they can’t give me a certificate but atleast they understand…

The point you have brought out is extremely touchable.CA firms only want cheap labour. The institute is doing everything to arrange for cheap labour in the form of CPT students. The prescribed stipend is 750 Rs. for a month.Maybe the inst. needs to look into the matter.
Identify such Blackship in profession and expose them to CACLUBINDIA.
One should highlight this type of untouched subjects.
Abhinav, I think ur right. Because most of the students in C.A is not from a good financial background. So ur point is right. Im appealing to CICASA union to support us and the board of studies will also have to take an quick action with regards to this issue.
Life is sometimes so hard and CA is hard too..yes.. this is a big bad world n thr r no free lunches..
sumtimes contacts are more important than money... the way u tackle problems is more important ...wat u think is a problem may not be a prob at all if u can view things frm othr side of the road... :)
I have also gone through the nonsense listed by you for quite some yrs and it was real painful.. tday at least you have a website n forum where u can let out this frustration n thr r ppl who understand this... my case was more pathetic.. it was a lone fight..
lets now come to solution of ur issue....
find somebody ..an elder in ur contact .. mom, dad, uncle, aunt , any frnd's dad and find out sum CA this way .. go to any coaching centre n ask them to help you.. might be they will do .. or they will tell you some door through which u can get it done.. just think positive... yes u hate CAs and its ok... but u love urself and u live for urself so do what is better for you..get articleship through tact and smartness.. finish it and prove that u r better CA and better human being...
thrs a story abt sumbody who knocked 10000 doors before getting a Yes for his chicken recipe.. so did u knock 10000 doors n asked 10000 CAs... if not, go n ask ..whats the harm.. its just a win win case ... this is my opinion .. ur opinion is more important as thts wat will affect u

clearing PE1 is 10 times difficult than CPT
gradually CA papers are becoming easy
i still remember pass % of FINAL in 2004 (my joining year) is just around 3%. i just ran away from ICAI bhawan in hyderabad after listening to this figure. (atlast i joined the course)
65% pass (1st CPT) is something undigestible to any old scheme CA student. which they cant imagine even in their wildest dreams. i never heard about 25%+ pass in PE1. getting 125 in CPT is just like getting 30s in all 4 papers in PE1. i hav many frnz who had taken both. may be u faced many problems but its true that with this effort you may not have passed PE1.
12/50 that mean 24%. 24% pass is very very high in CA. as you are a new guy , u dnt kno about this. DNT COMPARE CPT WITH IIT AND CAT.

CAs have every right to teach morals to you. they are very experienced aged and educated. they hadnt done these type of dummies in their time. as they are elders they are showing right path to you (they may not be going in right path for obvious reasons). U R JUST A CPT GUY TRYING FOR DUMMY AND ARGUING WITH CAs ABOUT THEIR MORALS. what a joke. and asking for thousands as stipend. u loser fu*k off from here

I didn’t Felt anything bad From you reply .............I have heard this reply many times in last month at least you didn’t said it on my face so it makes it less harder to take.
I think you are a C.A or In finals therefore you have every authority to discuss the matter.
Firstly C.P.T is not about hard or easy .......it was created to kill the undue advantage students of B.com (pass) had over 12th pass out, they were given the wild card entry in P.E 2 even if they didn’t knew anything in P.E 1 < i knew people of B<COM used to give P.E 2 exam just to take a shot. Now the people who are entering at least work harder then them. And if they didn’t worked hard they will stuck in P.C.C either way a less intelligent is not going to get through either its old or new pattern.
And its no denying that its little easier than P.E 1 but its still not the piece of cake like many think every pattern had its weak points P.E 1 had its
(1)You could write steps in accounting paper and gets marks for them even if your answer is not correct. In C.P.T you have to complete the question and get the answers.
(2) There were important topics in P.E 1 called pattern where you could score there is nothing like that in C.P.T examiner can give anything in 100 questions.
(3) C.P.T has law and chapter of INDIAN CONTRACT ACT which even most of the P.E 2 students skip saying that’s too lenghty.
(4) Let me add one more objection, which I think, you forget to raise and as being a junior I raise it.
C.P.T QUESTIONS ARE SHORT AND KID LIKE? (many C.A,s complaned)
It would be very kind of you if you answer the following question....
You had one orange I gave you another two you had three friends how many will each of them get?
Bingo ONE each
How you did it you simply added 1+2 = 3
And then divided 3/3=1 ......
Now if you ask you two questions....
(A) 1+2 = ?
(B) 3/3 = ?
I think you got my point that you were only able to finish the first question because you knew how to ADD and DIVIDE, now if you didn’t knew that it meaningless that I ask you a 3 LINE question or a 30 line question you wont be able to do it since you didn’t knew the basic ............that’s what C.P.T is about to get our basics right if I know formula and put the figures in it its meaningless to put a 10 number question in front of me (which include combination of few formula rather than single one) I will still do it and if I didn’t know the basic formula and if somebody just ask formula in one mark I wont able to do it .....
All objective papers do that (test that if our basic is correct) including IITJEE they call it FUNDA (basics).
So C.P.T is the same Cake just in slices DONT TREAT US AS IF THE C.P.T GUYS GOT IN C.A WITH SOME KOTA FOR MINORITY WE WORKED HARD FOR THAT.
SECONDALY no student is going say that their course was easy or at least as par as their since then it would then be difficult for you to live with (considering that you have to live with you not me) People will always Glorify and justify the path they take or the road they traveled or in some case the course they passed because we as humans are designed that way .... Think about it that you are standing in the middle of running road and your brain asks you to confirm your decision of crossing the road what will happen YOU WILL CERTAINLY HAVE AN ACCIDENT that’s why we are designed to trust and justify our decisions and also we cant live with guilt that we are wrong or maybe wrong (your brain will always tell you tell you that you are perfectly right in the decision of crossing the road and its perfectly safe without ARGUING with you that there are is a probability of your accident) . People with intellect ( or pretend that they have it) will rather die that to proven wrong in public.

And my grand father still thinks that their high school maths was far superior to ours (I had his book and he is wrong but never told him that) >>>>>
Now again about the big word MORALS .....somebody rightly said that the CRITIC is the one who always know ( or atleast ) pretend that he knows the right but NEVER WALKS ON IT and something like

So people have to do what they preach in order for the people to listen to them….They cant expect me to RIGHT things in the tough situtions when they themselves do wrong things in the same . I knew in order to survive in market they have to do those things and they have obligation towards their family to give them good standard of living afterall the CODE OF CONDUCT wont going to feed them….
Same is with me SURVIVAL and obligation towards my family ( as all of the students of C.A had towards there family and those who belive in them to show them they are right and PASS it )
Also about that pass rate I said that out of hundred(50 in front of me and 50 behind me i.e. 50+50 = 100) 12 passed in 100.
And about that L.K.G level question
" No Question Paper is set for geniuses so don’t afraid they will just check if you work hard in your studies or not "
These are words from the person who sat the paper and in FINALS and put a question in which you had to use something you learnt in P.E 2 and students argued that it was out of course and he responded that even a p.E 2 student would do that question and you don’t have this excuse since its thought to you......
So each paper will contain some easy questions.
And since Gandhiji helped a lot in my blog I would like to end it with his words "If someone is kind and generous to us, we should return that favor; but we should be kind and generous even to those who do not possess those qualities."

SERIOUSLY ABINAV you have put in words what we all wanted to say.
If there was some sought of students union i would have voted you as a president. you really didnt beleive in forced morality , you are what you are and you say it on their face unlike the C.AS i knew who tell one thing to us and do whatever suites him.
I will try to help and ask some freinds if they can .
In the mean time just keep writing ... we are with you.i will aslo share some experiance with you in next post.

Good Reply Yaar. I think ashok have to think that, they had completed their studies in 6 months for giving a pe1 exam, but we have done it in 3 months. With a vast course along with Contract act. Which they cannot complete in 3 months. So, They have to shut their mouth and treat us like a C.A Student.

What Anu Said is perfectly right. I am learning this in the hard way
And also what Rajan gupta explained

Now if you look at Rajan's words you will understand why Anu is right.
From what I came to know, It’s not the C.A conscious or his moral, which forces him to not provide DUMMY certificates rather it’s purely the act of business.
How?
If a C.A gave a dummy, he will get nearly 500 to a 1000 bucks a month, while an office assistant usually cost him 3000 to 4000 buks and looking that most of the firms are small affording more office assistants is a costly option but if they don’t have more assistants that means they have to do more work themselves.
So giving dummy usually costs them 2500 P.M on a single DUMMY.
Therefore when a C.A refuses for a dummy he is clearly looking at us for a cheep labor to fill the empty seats in his office (I have seen only one assistant that too PAID in most the C.A,s offices I think all the interns have taken leave at the same time). And to decrease his work load.
That’s where contacts comes in......If I had contacts I would have gotten the CERTEFICATE. (So its not money since even with 1000 BUKS C.A ill loose 2500 buks and his hours of leisure AND IMPORTANTLY someone to scold).
I often think that if my father had a big account with any of the C.A,s they would give the DUMMY bcz then it will be the OBVIOUS reason (to save his big client).
So next time if someone shouts at you and say no for dummy
Than don’t think he is giving a fatherly advice rather
He is frustrated bcz he just robbed from a possible office
Assistant (I am not using the word Article Clerk because is many offices
I have seen Article doing a job that only peons do).
Americans curse WALMART to pay his employs so cheaply that they remain hand to mouth at the price of their competitiveness/Profitability ......... I hope someone raises questions like these for us.

i dont know why am i trying to make u understand that basic funda / rule of a good life is be practical n mind ur own business...
there are thousands may be lakhs of ways to reach a single goal in life .. if one fails try another .. another fails try yet another ..one day one way will pay off for sure.
ur goals are monetary.... CA is not end of the life or prosperity ..start some business ..any business ..who is stopping u .. n who said that u require heavy capitals for that .. use ur mind .. access knowledge .. do.. play.. try .. if u wana study.. do sum othr studies.. wat do u want to learn exactly.. learn that .. bill gates ws nt a CA, Dhirubhai ambani ws nt a CA, mother teresa ws nt a CA, my jiju is nt a CA but many CAs work for him...:)
u matter more than ur qualifications ...qualifications are just a tool to get what u want out of life.. they r not life..they cannot be life..no matter what..dont let anything become so important that particular thing can rule ur happiness and desire to live..
we dont need to use our hearts/feelings/felt good /felt bad always ....sumtimes head/brains are enough to live well... :) ..have u heard a quote, " life is pain for those who feel and comedy for those who think" it is 100% true, try it...
