Wrong assessment year selecation while making tds payments

While making TDS payments on line we have wrongly select assessment year 2015-16 instead of 2016-17.

How to rectify the above mistake. Pl. give your opinion.

19 September 2015 Now there is no problem as to which section you choosed or which AY you selected while payment of TDS.

You can use the same challan details in filing your TDS returns and there should be no problem.

Alternately you can get the AY rectified by filing a letter with the TDS department.
