Can anyone tell me if wrong assessment year mentioned in the challan while making e-payment of tds i.e instead of A.Y.2012-13 we have mentioned A.Y.2011-12. How to amend this & what is a procedure to make the corrections.

You have to inform the ITO as well as the CPC for considering the amount deposited towards AY 2012-13.

yes. correction request letter give to ITO and copy you need to give bankers also
