Whether to join cs

One of my frnds wanted to join cs but he is an engineering student and he asks my suggestion whether to join or not if your advise is to join then please tell me the procedure for registration. Whether he can directly enter cs executive after graduation or start from foundation. Is doing cs along with engineering a good combination.what are the qualities required for doing cs.please tell about the subject in cs.

Many people are doing CS / CA from different backgrounds. Definitely it is a diversification from current stream. I have also seen a Marine Engineer doing LLB and carrying his law profession successfully. But such successful occasions are rare.
