Whether rectification possible??

Assessee(Individual) filed a return u/s 139(4) for A.Y 2011-12 but forgot to claim deduction under 80C in Return and put up tax amount in return manually without calculating tax in the return.Later on received a demand notice from I.T Department.what are the remedy available with him?Can he file rectification u/s 154?

you cannot file a rectification because there is no rectification here instead it is addition of information

Revised Return U/s 139(9) not possible if Return file U/s 139(4) i.e. belated return
