Whether minor having pan can file return?

26 August 2015 One our client is a minor who has a PAN and earns interest on FD which is clubbed in his mother's income.And the bank has deducted TDS in the name of child.Can he file return and claim TDS refund?

26 August 2015 Now a days, filing return on line has really extiguished all such points/queries.

Minor can NOT verify the return.

A minor can file separate return if he/she has separate/independent income arising out of his/her skill. Else it will be CLUBBED in the income of his/her parents.

Minor's return, in either case is verified by its parents
