This query is : Resolved

10 April 2015 Dear Sir, Madam,

I started my articleship on 16 oct 2012 and took a transfer on 3rd july 13 and joined a another ca on 9th july i had excess 15 days leave with my previous ca after that i have not taken any leaves and i am within my allowed leaves so i can give my exams in may 15?. I have filled the form also plz reply its urgent

10 April 2015 No. You can't.
The regulation is that the student must be serving his last six months of articles to eligible for the exams. For this, actually served= total service-break in service- excess leave if any.

Also, the date of reckoning will be the first date in which the exam is taking place.

So, you should have COMPLETED 2.5 years on May 01, 2015. Here, while taking into count of your due date, 16 Oct 2013+ 2.5 years + 6days interim leave + 15 days excess leave= 9th May 2015. So, you are not eligible for writing this May 2015 exams.

11 April 2015 But sir I have compendated for the excess leaves the same has been confirmed by my present principal in the examination form and also tge representative at the Institute ssid that the leaves would be adjusted if i take leaves within the total limit which I have complied with.
