SIR IN NEW FORM BB THERE IS A REQUIREMENT OF DETAILS ABOUT REGISTERED VALUER FOR IMMOVABLE PROP. BUT IF WE CALCULATED VALUE OF IMMOVABLE PROPERTY AS PER RULE 3 TO 8 OF VALUATION RULE, DO WE HAVE TO STILL VALUED PROPERTY THROUGH REGISTERED VALUER??

yes as while applying rule 3-8, it will require valuation as per sch III.

but then what is the use of rule 3 to 8 or 14 & 15 if we have to value immovable property by valuer. I have read the requirement of valuer only for jewelary exceeding 5 lacs

you need to appoint a local valuer only where u stay just meet any real estate agents they know them very well but beaware as they might keep their commision in it alsdo
