Want to change my principal in last 4 months of articleship

I have completed 2 years and 8 months of articleship and had given final exams in nov; 2015 . I am being called by my prinicpal in office for completing balance 4 months of articleship. But i dont want to go back now because of huge distance from my hometown and want to continue the balance period in my hometown itself.Is there any solution available so that i can convince my prinicpal for allowing me to complete the balance period in my hometown?

You can go for secondment of articles with the permission of your principle. You can serve the balance period of four month with some CA at your native place. No need to take permission from institute. You only need to intimate the institute in the form prescribed.
