16 July 2011 2% vat rate does not exits in India. the Common Rates are divided into 1%, 4%, 5%, 8%, 12.5% 13.5% etc.,

2% is the Concessional Rate of Central Sales Tax Act, 1956 against Declaration Forms (i.e. C Forms/E-I/E-II)
