25 May 2014 vat is payable on transportation charges if it is included in pricing.... can we pay tpt charges separately by giving service tax @ 3.09 %

25 May 2014 Even if it tpt charges are shown seperately in the bills VAT has to be paid on it. Once it is taxable under VAT laws ST will not be applicable....mjk
