WE HAVE BEEN APPROACHED BY A NEW CLIENT TO UPLOAD HIS IT RETURN. IN THE PREVIOUS YEAR IT WAS E FILLED ,BUT THE ASSEESSE IS NOT ABLE TO ANSWER ANY OF THE THREE QUESTIONS ASKED BY THE INCOME TAX SITE FOR CHANGE OF PASSWORD. IS THERE ANY OTHER METHOD TO FIND OUT THE PASSWORD USED IN THE PREVIOUS YEAR.

U just shoot a mail to regarding reset of password and send the new password to the registered email ID with following details:
Send a email request from registered email-id, which taxpayer has entered in the registration profile, to validate@incometaxindia.gov.in having following details
PAN, Name of the assessee as appearing in the PAN card, Date of Birth / Date of incorporation, Name of the Father as appearing in the PAN card Address Mobile number Registered email id. The ITD will send its response via email.
