Will income tax department (nsdl) issue unique transaction number to every person,co,firm,etc.

The proposed procedure once you make the payment through Bank after the payament has been passed by the bank it will go to the incometax website and the department will verify the same and approves it, while apporving they will provide the unique transaction number for that transaction which can be traced at any time in a future date.
