27 June 2011 whether a person doing job work (cutting of garments) can show income 0n presumptive basis i.e. 8% of gross reciepts(u/s 44 AD) up to A.Y. 2010-2011

Section 44 AD (For a person doing buisness of civil construction or supply of laboour for civil construction)

27 June 2011 Upto AY 2010-11 Section 44AD was applicable only in the case of contractors carrying on any civil construction contracts.

Hence 44AD can not be applied for AY 2010-11, however from AY 2011-12 New 44AD will be fit for the person.
