My client received a Notice U/S 148 IT Act for the A.Y. 2011-12. But he did not file IT return for the A.Y. 2011-12. His Bank transaction for the year approx 60 Lack. What are the complete procedure to solve the case.

1. The notice must contain a requirement to file a return. File the return u/s 147. 2. After filing the return, obtain a copy of reasons for issue of notice from the department. 3. On a scrutiny of the contents of the above reasons, further action can be planned.
