Whether amount reimbursed for conveyance and fooding while on overtime would be taxable under the head salaries?

yes, agter deducting actual expenditure remaining is taxable

What if we take declaration from the employee that he has expended the entire amount on conveyance and fooding ?

i think that will suffice your problem, the reimbursement of actual bills is not taxable as well if there is any policy for per deim or other expeses then also its non taxable.

Dear,There is a diff.between declaration & reiumbersement.If reiumbersed thru bill ,Non taxable
