kindly help me to know the treatment of central government's contribution to new pension scheme for government employees.
Whether the government's contribution will be included in the total income .

Contribution to pension scheme by govt will not be treated as income in the hands of the employee.

As per amendment in section 17 ,contribution of employer to CPF is taxable in employees hand .Further the employer's contribution is also eligible for deduction u/s 80CCD in same year.
