21 September 2012 Is it mandatory to get the signatures of transferor attested by bank in transfer form 7B?
Do section 108 of companies act mandates such attestation?

Yes,

Attestation should be done by Magistrate, Notary Public, or Special Executive Magistrate or similar Authority holding a public office and authorise to use the seal of his office or members of recongnised stock exchange through whome the shares are introduced or a manager of the transferor bank.
