Transfer of articleship

16 July 2013 Respected Sir/Madam
Iam a student of CA-Final and my 2nd year of articleship is going to be completed in August 2013. As my family is shifting to other city so i want transfer in that city, but as i read ICAI Clause it said for taking transfer i have to present a certified copy of transfer order to ICAi but here the case is my family is shifting to other city so i can't present copy of transfer order.
Kindly help me in this regard.

16 July 2013 Thank You Rajat Sir but i can't present transfer order copy as my dad has got retired and we are shifting to Chandigarh.So in that case how should i convince to ICAI

16 July 2013 convincing ICAI in your case would be difficult .. so my advice to u would be to convince your sir regarding it and termination your articleship by mutual consent.. in which u wont require transfer order.. and your problem will be resolved..

16 July 2013 Dear author let me tell you..

Disagree with above opinion..

As you have completed more than 1 year articleship you are mandatorily required to prior permission of icai..

1)icai prior permission for transfer is mandatory

2)you need to write a request letter to icai saying your reason for transfer along with the recommendation of employer

3)yes you may request icai by giving reason that your father retired and shifted to new place..and take a recommendation letter from your boss that transfer is for reason of your father retired and shifted to new place..

you will get permission of icai as it is a valid reason

you can file form 109 for transfer as and when you got permission for transfer from icai

after submitting form 109 you can join with other employer
