Transfer of articleship

11 October 2012 sir, i have completed my one and half year of articleship and now i wants to take transfer from my existing firm.. i want to take transfer to other state but its not sure that i will stay to that state for more than 6 months.. can i take transfer 2 times for the purpose of changing the state??

11 October 2012 According to the terms of conditions of transfer of articleship a student can take transfer one only time during his period of articleship by satisfying any one or more of the conditions specified by the ICAI to take transfer of articleship. However These conditions not apply to the students who are under going of their first year of articleship.
So you are under going of second year of articleship you have to bound the conditions to transfer by the ICAI. So you can take only one time transfer of articleship.

11 October 2012 can it be done that i take a back date transfer from my existing principal and gets registered in a new firm in back date only?? In this case what is the penalty that i have to pay to the institute without hampering my 6 months of training??

12 October 2012 I think it is very risky and ICAI may not accept because now a day ICAI following very strict rules regarding the transfer of articleship.At present scheme of articleship transfer articleship continution should be registered with the new employer after acceptance of form 109 by the ICAI.
