Time gap in transfer

This query is : Resolved

27 August 2008 I am a PCC student. I started my articleship in mid- January. I have completed 7 months of training out of 15 months.
My attempt is due in Nov. 09. I am taking transfer from my current firm.
Now,I have to complete further 8 months of training with a gap of 3 more , before I can appear for PCE.
My problem is: My current firm has asked me not to attend office in the meantime , ie ,gap between the day I gave the papers and the day on which they will give it back signed !
Will it cause any problem as according to them, I have ceased to be their article on the day I gave the papers.
Will this time gap (on their part) hinder my attempt?

Thanks

27 August 2008 They are right. Wherever you join they can sign on the day you join and if mutually agreeable then from the next day of your ceasing to be article.

27 August 2008 Thanks Mr.Kapil
