26 July 2011 Dear Hiren,

It is really enthusiastic to hear from you that you want to do CA after 12 years of doing your B.Com. Thums up from my side.

The point-wise answers to your queries are as follows:

1. Doing CA after 12 years of doing B.Com. - Answer: Very good thinking and a positive move. Age matters the least, when it comes to study.

2. 46% in B.Com. - Answer: Does not matter at all. Your performance in 12th or B.Com. does not determine whether you will become CA or not. Totally irrelevant.

3. Experience in Accounting - Answer: Positive thing. This will definitely help to achieve your dream.

GO AHEAD AND BEST OF LUCK.

26 July 2011 Under go the formalities required bu ICAI and register yourself as a C.A student. Your efforts are highly appreciable that you have decided to become C.A. after lapse of 12 years.

One thing you must Note that once you join C. A. course you have to give up your service as ICAI does not allow its articles to take up any other business or engagement
