I joined articles on 24-4-2013 and took termination within one year and re joined on 6-8-2013,now I want to take termination and join a firm in my home town because of medical problem.. with my auditor's consent..at present i have excess leave of 53 days i.e between 24-4-2013 to 6-8-2013.
as per ICAI if i take termination on medical grounds i have to take a compulsory leave of 3 months..
my request is please tell me if i take that 3 months leave will it make any impact on my final attempt ( i.e on Nov 2015 )...
also pl z consider 53 days leave and tell me when will my attempt comes and when will my articles be competed.
thank you for your quick reply sir..but at present my articleship completion period is 24-4-2016. ICAI in one of its letter written to me it is stated that....... "excess leave period,if any has to be served after/on completion of 3/3.5 years of article clerk period as applicable".
from re-registration to now I have taken no leave at all..then my future leave will be 3*30days=90 days and my 53 days leave together will be 143 days how can it change my attempt......

If my commencement is on 24-4-2013 actually it has to complete on 24-4-2016.due to 53 excess days leave( i.e Supplementary articles to do after actual completion date i.e on 24-4-2016 )it will become 16-6-2016...when i inquired, my friends told that "53 days will not affect" and i will get nov 2015 attempt...
now if i take 3 months leave it will become 16-9-2016... plz tell when will my attempt comes. ..i am so much confused because some are telling that "your actual final attemp wil not affect and you just have to do the remaining supplymentary articles only"
plz help me my , parents are so tensed and i have no answer for them plz help me....

sir i want to take termination on medical grounds my auditor is so supportive to give termination....my medical reason is urinary track infection and ulcers in my stomach due to hostel food...will ICAI permit me to get termination

1. well if your friends have already judged on ICAI behalf, there is nothing for me to say.
2. if your articleship including excess leave finishes after 30 April 2016, you wont be eligible for Nov 15.
3. Whether ICAI allows or not, is ICAI's prerogative. You should submit medical certificate wherein it can established that you need three months break. otherwise no transfer will be allowed
