11 September 2012 which amount of TDS should be claimed or shown in income tax return (a) the amount which has been deducted by the deductor or
(b) the amount which has been deposited with the government by the deductor (that appears in 26AS)?

11 September 2012 Claim the actual amount deducted from you by the deductor in respect of the previous (Financial) year for which return is being filed.
