20 October 2015 My query is that our company receives bills of rent on which VAT applied not service tax. So i should deduct TDS on amount excluding VAT or including VAT

20 October 2015 in my view firstly you should know the reasons behind charging VAT...

and for tds bill amount matters as of mah knowledge.. so Yes TDS will be deducted on fully bill amount....except for service tax cases
