HI,
I NEWLY JOINED IN NBFC WHARE ALL TDS AMOUNTS DEDUCTED AND PAID WITH IN THE TIME BUT THEY NOT FILING QUARTERLY RETURNS TILL.NOW IAM GOING FILE ALL THE QUARTERS FOR THE FINANCIALYEAR 2009-10.IS THERE ANY PENALITY ,PLEASE GIVE SUGGESSIONS ON THAT

Penalty is Rs. 100/- for every day of delay. However, it is payable, only if, penalty is imposed on you.

AGREE WITH SIR. BUT HAVEN'T SEEN THIS PENALTY BEING IMPOSED. SO YOU JUST FILE THE RETURN AND HOPE FOR THE BEST.
